These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of iampeterparker.com (the “Site”) and the I Am Peter Parker podcast, newsletter and related content (together, the “Project”). The Project is operated by BRX Studios LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

1. What this is

I Am Peter Parker is an unofficial, fan-made audio drama: a work of fiction in which the character Peter Parker narrates his life.

  • It is not produced, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Marvel Entertainment, LLC, The Walt Disney Company, Sony Pictures, or any of their affiliates.

  • “20 Ingram Street” is a fictional imprint used for storytelling. It is not a company.

2. Intellectual property

  • Third-party rights. Spider-Man, Peter Parker and all related characters, names and indicia are trademarks and/or copyrights of Marvel. We claim no ownership of them. Story events are referenced as commentary on, and a retelling of, the published comics.
  • Our original content. The scripts, audio recordings, original music, artwork, graphics, site design and text that we created are owned by BRX Studios LLC, to the extent they are not owned by others, and are protected by copyright.
  • Personal use. You may stream, download through official podcast apps, and share links to our content for personal, non-commercial use.
  • Not allowed without our written permission: — re-uploading or redistributing our audio or video — selling our content or anything made from it — using our artwork on merchandise — presenting our content as your own or as official Marvel material
  • AI training. You may not use our content to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

3. Rights holders and takedown requests

We respect intellectual property. If you hold rights in material that appears in the Project and believe its use is not permitted, email peter@iampeterparker.com with:

  • the material concerned
  • where it appears
  • your contact information
  • a statement of your rights

We will respond promptly and, where appropriate, remove or modify the material.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site
  • scrape the Site in bulk
  • misuse our newsletter or contact forms
  • impersonate us
  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe to Letters from Peter, we’ll email you about new episodes and related news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. How we handle your email address is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party services

The Site embeds or links to third-party services such as Spotify, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, social networks, and our email provider. Their own terms and privacy policies govern your use of them. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Fiction and opinions

The Project is a work of fiction. Characters’ views are not statements of fact about real people or organizations, and nothing in the Project is professional, legal, financial or medical advice.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and Project are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • BRX Studios LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or Project.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to US $100.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BRX Studios LLC from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
